Turn on Listen crowd validation
Prerequisite: a project that records with <AudioRecord> or
<VideoRecord> (every Voice Collection / Sign Language
Collection template) — the recording tag enables the Audio QC tab. See
Record a speech corpus.
- Project → Settings → Audio QC, card Corpus purpose & validation.
- Set the validation mode:
- Crowd — contributors validate each other's clips; N agreeing votes resolve a clip;
- Hybrid — the crowd votes; reviewers keep the escalation queue and can override.
- Set the votes-to-resolve threshold (default 2, same as Common Voice). Save.
- A Listen tab appears in the project nav for every contributor (managers see it in any mode while Audio QC is enabled). Voters judge clips Yes/No against criteria derived from your audio profile; disagreements escalate to reviewers.
- Optional: on the same settings card, enable the sentence collector — it adds a Suggest a sentence panel to the Listen page, and submissions pass the same peer-vote loop before becoming prompts.
