Offline reading
Going somewhere with poor connectivity? You can take the docs with you two ways β download just the sections you need into this browser, or grab a PDF handbook.
Download sections into this browserβ
Pick a section and press Download β its pages and images are stored on this device and keep opening at their normal links when you're offline. Online reads always come from the network, so you never see a stale page while connected; press Re-download after a while to refresh a stored section. Remove frees the space.
Loading section listβ¦
Stored pages live in the browser you downloaded them with β Chrome on Android (including docs opened from the mobile app), Safari on iPhone and iPad (open the docs in the Safari app itself), and any desktop browser. If you read the docs from more than one browser, download in each one.
PDF handbooksβ
Every documentation track is also a typeset PDF β download once, read in any PDF reader, share over WhatsApp or a local network. Each handbook mirrors the same content and order as this site and carries its generation date on the cover.
| Handbook | For | Download |
|---|---|---|
| Overview & get started | everyone's first read | |
| Project owner / researcher | creating and running projects | |
| Annotator / contributor | labeling, mobile + offline work | |
| Developer / self-hoster | self-hosting, API, operations | |
| Platform admin | orgs, roles, consent, policy | |
| Tester checklists | the per-role testing TODO suites | |
| Complete reference | everything in one file |
Running an onboarding session somewhere with poor connectivity? Download the Annotator / contributor handbook beforehand and share it with the cohort β it covers signup through offline labeling.
