Organisation and platform

Ticks are recorded live

Work these steps on the in-app checklist β€” account menu β†’ My testing checklist β€” where every Pass / Fail / Skip is recorded the moment you press it, and Fail files the report for you. This page (and its PDF) is the same list for reading, printing, or working offline; if you used paper, transfer your ticks into the app afterwards.

Org-level administration (tester1) and platform-level controls (coordinator / staff).

Each step: Do this, then check You should see.

A. Members and roles

  • OP-01 Invite a new member by email with role Reviewer. You should see: the invite email arrives; after sign-up they appear with that role.

  • OP-02 Change a member's role, then remove a member. You should see: takes effect immediately for them; an activity log entry records both.

  • OP-03 Transfer ownership to another member. You should see: the new owner has owner rights; the previous owner is demoted correctly.

  • OP-04 Members β†’ Add members β†’ Upload file: drop a CSV with email, name and role columns (include one bad email, one duplicate and one unknown role). You should see: columns are guessed; the summary says how many will be invited and how many rows are skipped and why; nothing is sent yet.

  • OP-05 Click Review N members… then Invite. You should see: a review modal lists every row with the role it will get (unknown role β†’ default); after confirming, the members appear in the list with those roles; new accounts get the set-password email.

  • OP-06 Upload a JSON file with the same people. You should see: already-member rows are reported as such; no duplicates are created.

B. Policies

  • OP-07 Set an idle timeout, a rejection auto-suspend policy and a contributor cap. You should see: each shows its effect where documented (timeout logs out; rejections pause; cap limits joins).

C. Quotas and freeze (platform staff)

  • OP-08 Platform β†’ Organizations β†’ set a members quota below the current count. You should see: adding a member is refused with a quota message; the org owner is notified.

  • OP-09 Freeze the organisation with a reason. You should see: members see a Frozen pill; every write is refused with the reason (HTTP 423); reading/exports still work; staff can still administer.

  • OP-10 Unfreeze. You should see: members can work again; owners/admins notified both times.

D. Payouts and ledger

  • OP-11 Approve payouts for validated work; download the receipt. You should see: the annotator sees Earnings with paid/pending; the receipt verifies on the public verify page.

E. Analytics

  • OP-12 Organization β†’ Analytics / Quality / Activity. You should see: charts load in under 3 s; filters change the data; nothing overflows on a tablet.

F. Platform

  • OP-13 Platform β†’ Users: create a user, deactivate, reactivate. You should see: login works only while active; audit log shows each action.

  • OP-14 Platform β†’ Settings: change a platform default (e.g. idle timeout default). You should see: orgs without an override pick it up.

  • OP-15 Platform β†’ Users β†’ row menu β†’ Delete on a user who is the sole owner of an EMPTY organisation. You should see: ONE modal opens listing what is removed and what is kept (with counts) and the organisation with the choices Make me the owner / Delete the organisation (it is empty); Delete user stays disabled until you choose and type the email exactly; after Delete user the account and the empty organisation are gone; anyone who had it active lands on the no-organisation page, never on 'Uh oh, something went wrong'; audit log shows user.delete and org.delete.

  • OP-16 Delete a user who owns an organisation WITH other members (and one with projects but no members). You should see: the modal offers Transfer ownership to with a member picker (highest roles first); pick one; the picked member becomes Owner and is notified; for the members-less org with projects choose Make me the owner; every member of those organisations can still open Home, Projects and a task; the activity feed records the transfers.
